Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC)
Bible Electric, Inc. is IEC’s largest member, supporting apprentices as they complete the four-year training to become a Journeyman Electrician.
The Southern Colorado Chapter of IEC is one of 50 chapters nationwide representing over 3,200 merit shop and systems contractors. IEC promotes the common interests of independent electrical contractors and works with local, state and federal governments to make the electrical industry safer and stronger.
New Examination and Reporting Requirements for Electrical Apprentices
On July 7, 2020, Governor Jared Polis signed SB20-120 Apprentice Examinations and Professional Licenses. The new law outlines testing timeframes and requirements for electrical apprentices and Journeyman electricians.

Concerned about your safety? So are we! Our employees receive regular safety training through professional agencies that specialize in various areas of safety. Additionally, we recognize that providing a safe work environment is a team effort – which is why we only work with general contractors who care about your safety as much as we do.
Our foreman receive OSHA 30 certifications as well as first aid, CPR, and AED training. This effort helps ensure that you are being supervised by a team that can recognize potential hazards and mitigate them immediately.
