As a small business Bible Electric was rarely required to do VDC/BIM coordination to the scale requested by the USAGE/Mortenson for the EAB HQ Project. Bible foresaw the benefits of the technology early and in lieu of just subcontracting this work out, they started developing these technologies in house. Not only did they manage to successfully complete the required preconstruction coordination, but, in the absence of a dedicated GC on-site ICC staff Bible Electric has led the BIM coordination efforts for the complex mod work added on by the USAGE. The fact that their on-site superintendent leads this effort in person is a testament to their belief in the VDC/BIM technologies.

Mortenson has had the pleasure of working with Bible Electric on this very challenging project (The Broadmoor Exhibit Hall). The scope of the work was a 170,000 SF Exhibit Hall, with multiple Meeting Rooms and Concessions Areas, all of which had to be completed in 10 months.

Bible was a true partner for Mortenson and the Broadmoor on this project. They provided competitive pricing upfront and worked with the team to develop and implement several cost savings ideas. If any additional scope items came up, their change order pricing was always fair and reasonable.
